The Bird Haven guest house building was built in 1902 as a boarding school for boys.

We are situated halfway between Cape Town and Johannesburg, between Cape Town and Durban for a safer route, halfway between Bloemfontein and East London and also between Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth.

We offer five bedrooms equipped with shower and basin, TV, fan, heater and electric blanket, English or continental breakfast and all other meals available on request, coffee and tea facilities in every room, a fully licensed bar, braai(barbecue) facilities, a wide farm style veranda for lazy, relaxing evenings sipping a sundowner or two in a tranquil, rural Karoo atmosphere.
